Exchange help

How long does a crypto exchange take?

A confirmed deposit and a delivered payout are different milestones. Check the order status and transaction IDs to find where your exchange is waiting.

There is no fixed completion time for every exchange. Deposit confirmations, exchange processing, liquidity, and the receiving network can all affect how long yours takes.

Find the stage that is taking time

Start with the status your order shows, then check the matching transaction. The five-second status refresh only updates the screen; it does not mean the exchange will finish in five seconds.

NEWWaiting for a deposit
Already sent? Check your sending wallet for a broadcast TxID, then verify the network, recipient and amount. A submitted custodial withdrawal may not yet have an on-chain transaction.
PENDINGDeposit confirmation
Compare the Deposit transaction and Confirmations shown on the order with the correct network. A confirmed transaction can still be awaiting exchange processing; there is no universal required confirmation count.
EXCHANGEExchange processing
Keep the original order ID and deposit evidence. Another deposit does not speed up this stage.
WITHDRAWPayout processing
No payout TxID shown? The order does not yet give you a transfer to check. If a TxID is shown, check it on the receiving network, then check the receiving wallet or custodian.
DONECompletion reported
No visible credit? Verify the payout transfer and any custodial deposit requirements. DONE is the order's reported status, not an independent check of your receiving balance.

Keep the status and the time you checked it for an investigation; do not assume a fixed response or escalation time.

Two different clocks

A quote is not a payment deadline. Neither tells you when the payout will arrive.

Quote · before you create an order
A quote is an estimate; its exact expiry time is not shown. Recheck the selected assets, networks, amount and current quote. This flow does not offer a fixed-rate lock: if you need a guaranteed rate until a stated date or time, do not pay on that assumption.
Payment window · on a NEW order
Payment window is the time left to pay that order, not a rate lock or payout estimate. Check Payment window before sending. Use the remaining minutes if shown. If it says Time remaining unavailable, do not calculate a deadline from a generic duration.

Use that order's deposit instructions. An exact cutoff date and time is not shown here; do not infer one from a calendar or a deadline calculator. If the order has expired, use the unpaid or already-sent steps below.

If the sender has suspended withdrawals or the destination has suspended deposits, a quote does not override the suspension. Resolve compatibility before paying.

Expired, but not paid?

EXPIRED means the order's payment window has ended. Do not send to its old deposit address. Select Start a new exchange if you still want to proceed, then check the new quote, networks, destination and newly returned deposit instructions.

  • Keep the expired order for your records; expiry is not a charge and does not prove there is anything to refund.
  • Do not reuse the expired instructions even if the new order requests the same asset or the address looks familiar.
  • An order deadline tells you when that order expects payment, not when a blockchain transaction or payout will complete.

Expired after you sent funds?

Stop before sending again. A withdrawal submission time, a blockchain broadcast time and a confirmation time are not interchangeable. If an order is EXPIRED while a payment exists, investigate that payment under the original order; a replacement does not move it.

  • Open the sender's transfer record and obtain its on-chain TxID if available. Verify the actual network, recipient, amount and transaction result.
  • Keep the original ID, the payment-window value if one was displayed, and submission, broadcast or confirmation times with their timezones. A broadcast or confirmation time alone does not tell you when the exchange received the payment.
  • Neither EXPIRED nor a confirmed late deposit establishes automatic acceptance or refund. There is no fixed processing time for a late deposit; its outcome must be checked against the original order.
  • Do not pay the expired address again or fund a new order expecting it to resolve the original deposit.

Form loading or showing an error?

Before an order is created, a loading, quote or validation error is a website request problem, not an on-chain payment status. The current form asks for a positive amount, both networks and a valid destination format. A failed quote may also reflect an unavailable asset, so do not assume every error is network congestion.

  • If assets and networks could not be loaded, select Retry and wait for the catalogue before creating an exchange.
  • For amount, network or address validation errors, correct the highlighted value before submitting. A syntactically accepted address still needs the correct receiving network.
  • If order creation reports an error, retain the message. Do not send funds without an existing order and its complete instructions; this error alone does not prove whether the server created a request.
  • If an existing order page or lookup fails to load, reopen the saved link or retry that lookup. Do not create a second funded order to repair a connection error.

Which withdrawal is delayed?

no1 exchanges funds to a destination address; it is not a custodial account with a withdrawal balance you control. WITHDRAW is a payout stage, not a withdrawal or release-funds button. First identify which service is holding up the transfer.

  • If your sending exchange will not allow a withdrawal, check its authenticated account notices and withdrawal status. no1 cannot override that custodian's restriction.
  • If the order is in WITHDRAW, use the payout TxID when supplied and check the receiving network. If it is not supplied, keep the order state and ID rather than assuming the transfer failed.
  • If the receiving exchange has suspended deposits, its account-crediting rules are separate from the on-chain transaction. Do not send another deposit to unlock a payout.
