Exchange help
Crypto exchange deposit problems
Your wallet shows a withdrawal, but the exchange has not detected it? Check the blockchain transaction as well as the withdrawal record.
Do not send another deposit. Check the original order: asset, network, address, amount, and any required memo or tag.
You sent less than the instructed deposit
Underpayment means the order received less than its instructed sending amount. Compare the same asset on the same network, not the quoted payout.
- Do not top up on your own
There is no top-up control in this order view. A second payment is not a confirmed way to combine deposits or fix a shortfall. Do not fund an EXPIRED or REFUND order.
- Compare the amount received
Check the original instructions against the transfer to the order deposit address. A custodian may deduct a withdrawal fee; check your own withdrawal record rather than assuming how the fee was charged.
- Record the shortfall
Subtract the received amount from the instructed amount. For illustration, 100 units instructed minus 99 received is a 1-unit shortfall, not a tolerance rule. Do not use your wallet balance, transaction fee or expected payout for this calculation.
- Keep the evidence with the original order
Save the order ID, deposit TxID, asset, network, instructed and received amounts, and current status. Open the original order. Acceptance of the shortfall, combining deposits or a refund requires an order-specific decision; the lookup cannot request one.
You sent more than the order asked for
Overpayment means the order received more than its instructed deposit. An excess payment does not confirm a larger payout or an automatic refund.
- Do not reallocate the excess yourself
A second order will not absorb an existing payment. The no1.exchange order view has no control for reallocating it.
- Calculate the difference
Subtract the instructed amount from the on-chain received amount in the same asset and network. For illustration, 105 received minus 100 instructed is 5 units of excess, not a confirmed refundable balance.
- Match the actual transfer
For a token, match its contract and transfer recipient. A transaction total or wallet balance is not the amount received by the order. Save the original instructions, TxID and status.
- Confirm how the excess will be handled
Open the original order. Confirm whether the excess will be exchanged, returned or handled another way, and confirm any fees for that order. No automatic excess-handling rule has been established. The lookup cannot make that decision.
You sent less than the exchange minimum
The minimum belongs to the exact asset and network of a new exchange. A new quote does not decide what happens to a smaller payment already sent.
- Already sent
Compare the amount received at the original deposit address with that order's minimum for the exact asset and network. Keep the instructions, TxID and status; the transfer is not an available wallet balance.
- Do not add another payment
There is no confirmed top-up, minimum exception or refund rule for this case. Processing or returning the payment requires an authorized order-specific instruction. Open the original order; the lookup does not request an exception.
- Starting a new exchange
Correct the amount and get valid instructions for the selected asset and network before sending. New instructions do not move a payment already sent to the original order.
Deposit arrived after the order expired
A late deposit reaches an order after its payment window. EXPIRED does not confirm acceptance or a refund; keep checking the original order.
- Do not fund the expired address again
A replacement order does not transfer an already sent payment to it.
- Record the timing
Save the original order ID, payment window if displayed, deposit TxID, asset, network and amount. Record broadcast and confirmation times with their timezone; submitting a withdrawal is not the same as broadcasting it.
- Verify the payment
Check the sending wallet and the network actually used. A submitted withdrawal alone does not prove that the order received the deposit.
- Check the original order
Open the original order. Accepting a late payment or authorizing a return needs an order-specific decision; EXPIRED gives no eligibility rule or handling deadline. For a return that has been authorized, use the refund-transfer checks below.
REFUND is a status, not a receipt
REFUND does not prove that a return has been approved, sent or credited. The order view has no separate refund amount, destination or transaction ID. Its receiving amount is the original exchange quote.
- No refund request in this form
There is no self-service cancel button, refund form or return-address selector. Keep the original order ID and deposit TxID. Do not send more funds to an order marked REFUND.
- If you have refund details
Match the returned asset, exact network, destination and amount. Check the separate refund TxID on that network. For a token, inspect the token transfer and contract, not the native coin value.
- If you do not have a refund TxID
Open the original order and keep its current status. Without separate transfer details, broadcast and receipt cannot be verified. The lookup does not request the missing details.
- If a custodian receives the return
A successful on-chain transfer is separate from the custodian crediting your account. Match its deposit record to the transaction before treating the refund as received.
Crypto refund address for a custodial wallet
A custodial exchange may send withdrawals from a shared address that is not your own deposit address. Returning funds to the transaction sender does not establish that your account will be credited.
- Get receiving instructions
For a proposed return, obtain instructions from your wallet or custodian for the returned asset and exact network. Check that deposits are enabled. Never substitute a sender address copied from the outgoing transaction.
- Keep the memo or tag
Include every required memo or tag with the address. On XRP, a destination tag can identify the beneficiary of a shared address.
- Confirm the address with the order handler
Before a return is sent, ask the exchange handling the original order to confirm it can use this receiving address and any required memo or tag. An address alone does not approve or route a refund.
- An address does not authorize a refund
The no1.exchange order view has no refund-address input or confirmed automatic return-to-sender rule. It cannot submit or change return instructions.
- Do not change the access address
The Receiving address used to reopen an order is its original payout address. A different entry neither requests a refund nor changes where one would be sent. Never share wallet keys or a seed phrase.
Check the refund amount and timing
The original payout quote is not a refund amount. The no1.exchange order view supplies no refund fee schedule, eligibility decision or processing deadline. Network-fee documentation cannot tell you what will be deducted from a return.
- Amount and deductions
An order-specific decision needs the returned asset and network, approved destination and tag, gross amount, each confirmed deduction and net amount. Illustrative arithmetic only: 100 units authorized minus a confirmed 2-unit deduction is 98 net. These numbers are not a fee rate or an approved refund.
- If the amount differs
Compare the amount approved for return, separately confirmed deductions and the actual transfer to the recipient. Keep the on-chain received amount separate from a custodian's credited balance. A difference alone does not identify a fee or who deducted it.
- Three separate waiting periods
If a return is authorized and sent, distinguish handling before broadcast, blockchain confirmation after broadcast, and a custodian's account-crediting time. An order status gives no fixed number of hours.
- Verify a return that was sent
Check a separate refund TxID on its stated network if one is supplied through a verified route. REFUND alone does not expose that transfer. Without a TxID, you cannot verify the broadcast or estimate confirmation progress from this page.
Can a price change qualify for a refund?
A displayed quote does not prove a locked rate or a refund right. The no1.exchange order view has no confirmed fixed-rate contract, price-deviation threshold or continue/refund selector.
- Before sending
Do not fund an order assuming a fixed rate or deviation remedy unless its terms explicitly provide one. Automatic processing does not establish those terms.
- If you have already sent the deposit
Open the original order. Keep the quote, instructions, TxID and status. These records do not establish a right to a particular refund; the lookup cannot request a rate adjustment or return.
Does U.S. residence decide refund eligibility?
This guide does not set U.S.-specific refund terms or determine your legal rights. Missing terms here do not mean that you have no refund rights.
- For a particular payment
Keep the original order ID, deposit TxID and status. Check the confirmed handling terms for that order. A qualified adviser can help assess which legal rights apply to your case, including questions of governing law. U.S. residence alone is not an approval or denial of a refund. This troubleshooting page does not approve refunds.
- An exchange refund is not a tax refund
It returns a payment handled under an exchange order. Its tax treatment is a separate question for a qualified tax adviser, not the order-status lookup.
